Potatoes are on a Roll

On a roll, literally. Just in fry form

Why do people make fun of others saying they look like a potato. Just because they look a little rough “you look like a potato.” Public service announcement potatoes are the most beautiful thing on this planet. They count of my favorite food because they are so versatile.

Think about it...They can be mashed, fried, baked, seared, boiled, or even turned into a drink. How do you think vodka is made. The way of the potato is an ancient art. Ever since these little guys were discovered they were served on plates. They were used to fill the bellies of the people. They were cheap ways to kill hunger. Their sugars allow them to be pressed into an alcoholic drink. Pay tribute to these starchy sugary delicious roots.
Of course there’s the classics mash potatoes, baked potatoes, and fries. But have you ever taken into consideration that they can be other things?

1.) Potato Pancakes
It’s okay shhh I know I know. No they’re not potato chips..but they are a thicker crunchier more savory delicious treat.

2.) Hash Browns and Tatertots
Do you hear that? It’s either angels singing or the crunch of that golden crust.

3.) Sliced Baked Potatoes
Baked potatoes are great and all butttttt sometimes I want potato chips too. Why not have both?








We can not thank these little guys for giving us such delicious meals. Their various ways to impress us never fail. Don’t forget they don’t even have to stay in potato form. They can also be made into bread or beverages. So think the nest time you call someone a potato. In my mind that’s a compliment.
